Skywarn Weather Spotter Training
Skywarn weather spotter training is offered by the National Weather Service, Benton and Stearns County Emergency Management. Classes are offered in the spring of each year. This training will teach attendees how to identify severe weather and what , when and how to report it.
If you have taken the basic class in previous years, you are eligible for the advanced class, however, you may not take both the same year.
If you are interested in learning more about Skywarn training, please contact your county emergency management directors.
