Dues for renewing members are $25 for the August through July year.
The intent of the organization is to protect, maintain and improve the ground and surface water resources within the Little Rock Lake Watershed and adjacent Mississippi River area by encouraging appropriate water use and shore land management practices.
Following are some of the things the Organization has previously accomplished.
- Participated in the Healthy Lakes Program
- Annual Picnic / Pig Roast at Benton Beach
- Annual July 4th Boat Parade-Began in 2000 with 3 boats–Increased to 45 in 2002
- Assisted Benton Co. Water & Soil with 2 Lake Shore Restoration Projects
- Professionally conducted Lake Study/Maps-Funded by Grants and the LRLA
- Initiated Benton County’s approval of a No Wake Zone for Harris Channel
- Sponsored a contest at Rice Elementary School for designing our lake logo
- Sold T-shirt & Caps for a fund raiser
- Developed a web site www.littlerocklake.org See information & pictures on the web
- Worked with the Sheriff during the floods to provide a no wake zone on the lake
